Blackplumpoetry is derived by the word Black Plum which is Indian blackberry or “jamun”, a native fruit of India. This blog will bring curated poems depicting interesting sights, sounds, flavours, music, art, sculpture, landscapes, people, mythology, folklore, true stories of India. It will also cover a potpourri of poems of rustic images, grassroot innovations, folk-art, tribal dance, authentic cuisines and women of India.
Anjali Bhatt Manda, the Founder of this blog. She has worked as a Consultant and Business Mentor for Women Startups under the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog. She has over 15 years of experience in consulting, training and research in entrepreneurship and finance. She has worked with multinational organisations – UNDP and Price Waterhouse Coopers. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialisation in Finance from the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. She is Gold Medallist in her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Writing poetry is her passion. She is working on her second book titled Those Remarkable Women.
